Thanks guys, That's interesting, so the drivers for the CX100's obviously must be more, as everyone opts for re-foaming these.... Thanks again.

Thanks Peter, I'm wondering if i could split these, run 2 subs off these and also run another amp off these to power a center speaker with more watts. I just don't think that the 45 watts that the AV7000 has will keep up with what i'm planning????

I've heard of re-foaming the Cx100's when the foam breaks down. Also, I 've heard that the foam of the midranges in the Pentas goes bad. Couldn't we re-foam the midranges in the pentas?? THanks

Just looked at the back of the AV 7000 and yes, it has the powered center speaker connections (45 w/ side) for 1 center. Though, it also has what is labled as L and R subwoofer outs (obviously low level and controlled by the volume). Question is, does anyone know if the subwoofer outs are filtered to low frequencies or are they just volume controlled

Hi Riccardo, Those are some nice speakers. I had a pair of those in perfect condition and a pair of bose 901 VI's running off a sansui G-9500. It f'ing kicked. The whole set up (in perfect condition) was taken when left in storage. This actually kills me and i'll not go back to the huge equipment. Now i'm into the small and powerful

Thanks guys a ton...i'll check that part number. Just so you know i'm not crazy, here's the problem i'm trying to solve. With a home theatre system, it appears that most systems have the front 3 channels at the same power (clean watts). So i've got the 2 pentas up front and the subs are big and very powerful. This leaves the AV7000

I'm familiar with the small lines and boxes they use in car stereo to convert some speaker level to line level. My question is, is there a B&O part number that converts the speaker level to a line level?? Thanks, Keith
-
How stable are the B&O amplifier sections on say the AV7000?? I know it's rated for 8 ohms????
-
Thanks guys, Peter, where could I see a photo of the BnO home theatre set up with the CX100??? Thanks, keith
