Hi They've tried all those things, but no picture or sound when conected via component. They have also routed it through the sky box, and then you get a picture so it is the component connection which is faulty in some way. My guess is that, as you suggest, they are using wrong settings in the menus - but any suggestions as to what they should be

Can anyone help with this? My B&O dealership is having real trouble. They tried connecting via the Y Pb Pr sockets but that did not work, for some reason, although the technical department maintain it should do

How do I set uthis up? No HDMI socket, only 1 DVI, and that is being used by sky+ HD box

Hi I've connected a slingbox to the sky box which in turn is conected to a Beovision 7-40, and then to my router. We use a slingcatcher in our flat in France and it is just incredible - we have our sky box on our tv in France - and we can record, delete in fact everything we can do in England. One of the best pieces of kit I've ever bought

Thanks Callen but don't forget my tv does not possess even on HDMI socket, only a single DVI socket, nor does the Beomedi possess a HDMI socket
-
Help! Can I assume it's just impossible (oh no!) or that noone knws (extremely unlikely) I should have mentioned that for the sky HD connection the HDMI to DVI lead carries the picture and then there is scrt to scart for the sound

I'd be really grateful for any help here, otherwise the Beomedia will have to go back! What I need is a cable by cable connection process. At the moment the sky+ HD is connected by to the tv by a HDMI to DVI cable, but my dealer cannot find a way of connecting the tv to the Beomedia

My dealer is having a real problem connecting these up together - only one DVI socket etc. Is there a perfect solution?
-
