Thanks for the replies. The thing I don't understand about B&O software updates is this: normally, an update fixes bugs which are inherent in the previous software version, but with B&O it seems that some tvs are affected and others not, even though they are running the same level of software Why is this?

My dealer tells me there have been updates but if I haven't noticed anything amiss, there is no point installing them. Is he right?

Hi Callen I've been looking for a solution like this for ages. How does the boxing attach to the wall (if indeed it does). If it does attach. is it DIY job for someone who is totally impractical? Also, can you give me some details on what exact product you used and any sizing details Thanks

Thanks for all the interesting comments and replies to my , sometimes, half-thought-out points. I think that the general view, that B&O should stick with digital media is absolutely right, because it is the future and they have to keep up (or preferably) move ahead of the opposition. But they have to improve the software and make sure it works before

After many frustrating years of dissatisfaction with my Beosound 2 (clunky Beomedia software, on numerous occasions failing to recognise there is a Beosound 2 attached, inability to work with itunes etc. etc., impossible-to-memorise press button combinations to, for instance, get it to play random), I have taken the plunge and bought myself an ipod

Hi Beovision 7-40 mark iv, sky+ HD box, apple tv, slingbox = millions of wires coming from the back of the tv and sprawling all over the floor. Is there a simple solution?

Sorry to be so ignorant but what is a Beosound plug-in and how do I get rid of it? I have recently converted to an imac and am experiencing similar problems with Beosound 2

Is there any way I can turn off the screen of my Beovision 7-40 mark iv whilst listening to my albums on apple tv? Some of my friends love having the screen on but I find it intensely annoying
