The Beocom came to life today for no reason that I can fathom. I had it for a couple of weeks with the above problems, and today for the first time it works . . . I am surprised but happy.

I have a lovely yellow Beocom 2000 phone but it suffers from several problems. First, it won't dial in either the tone or pulse mode. There is a dial tone when I pick up the receiver but when I dial a number the dial tone remains. Second, the sound in either speakerphone or normal mode is very faint.
