well, I grabbed an old ipod and attached it to the 9000, and it sounded just fine - so I think my vaio headphone amp is just rubbish. I'll try the airport express.

Hi, I purchased a cable to connect my PC to my beosound 9000 via the AUX port. So I fire up I Tunes and pick a track, select AUX on the 9000 and the music appears fine. The thing is - the quality is awful. The MP3 is CD quality, so that's not the issue. I do have to turn up the volume on the PC to high and crank the 9000 volume higher than normal

well all, thanks for this. I popped into my local dealer and the BL3 took it for me they were the more natural sounding, then again I came away thinking that a BL2 would be a nice addition to offset the slight lack of bass punch..... Cheers all and thanks for the replies....

Hi, I'm thinkink of investing in a new pair or B&O speakers, but dithering between the old (the 8000) and the new (the BeoLab3). Has anyone any opinions on these speakers? I've listened to them in a store many times, but just can't make my mind up. Ta J
