I plan on getting a beocord 6500/7000 and gutting to put in either a mac mini or some kind of MP3 player. I haven't really ever seen a beocord up close so it will have to wait until I get my hands on one this year sometime.

Sorry, I had a brain fart there. It isn't a year's salary. It is a 1/3 of a years salary for the beovision 7. The Beovision 10-40 is 600,000yen on it's own. That is the cheapest TV here. Japanese TVs are a super cheap. 40 inch Sony/Sharp are about 80,000. I would rather have the B&O. I would love a BV8-40. Classic design!
