SWISS 2: Glad to hear you are planning out your stay in Japan. You will be NTSC-M region, and B&O is well received in Japan too. You will also be.in DVD Region 2, and will need a multi-region DVD player if you are going to take European or North American DVDs to enjoy. If you don't purchase this ahead of your trip, spend some time in Akihabara

I got the grill a few marks here and there but nothing too bad. I have to say that the gold in the flesh is much better than any picture I have ever seen. I am loving it.

I will keep an eye out but the avant is a big TV and the shipping costs will be quite high. I think I really want a beovision 6. While I am saving I will consider the avant and possibly a BV8 if it is released in Japan.

I will speak to me dealer about changing the tuner to a Japanese spec but I don't think the avant was released here. Have a PAL version

Not really a speaker, but I guess it fit in, just about. Beosound 1, when it comes to design, it is the best. In 20 years time, people will still talk about its grill, everything with a grill will be compared to it. Its just timeless. I am upgrading now, but I am keeping the beosound one for the kitchen, dispite my kitchen being 4 square metres with

I managed to get it for 60 quid delivered. He says it was in reasonable condition with a little dusty. I am going to buy the becom 2 in gold too. I just love that phone and colour. I am really happy that managed to get one as I tried about 3 years to buy a gold and had no lucky, so I bought a new last year. So this way, I get the good colour along with
