Is it simple as just take the consumption in W of the goods you are going to add and then make sure that the step up capacity is greater than the total of you equipment? Sorry guys There are some guys here that seem to be very very good with B&O at the component level. I think my question will be best here but please excuse the simple nature of the question. I am buying a B&O system 7000 and importing it to Japan. It is the EU model (230V~ 50/60hz) and Japan is 100V 50/60Hz. I have been looking at step ups/downs

I use a Beosound 1 in Japanese apartment in Tokyo. I can not compare it to a vintage system but I will say that the sound quality is pretty damn good. I have a Japanese Beosound 1 I have been thinking about selling if you are interested.

Yeah, I got the e-mail. I just read it. Thank you. I would say that my system sounds better now with just BL4000 Mk1 than the BL4000 Mk2 with the BL11. It was cold and dull. I am not an audiophile. I measure a stereos quality in a simple way. If I hear it and I want to hear more then it is good. I didn't get that at all. It did take him 10 minutes

It is was an interesting read. I don't want the BL2 (over kill for me). I thought the BL11 would be perfect for me but it seems to be useless. I live in a 35sq metre (yep 35) apartment so the 4000s rule. I will pop to another dealer when they are open and try the BL but my hopes aren't up!

I am having a little upgrade. My beosound is being demoted to the bedroom after 3years of service in the living room. I have BL4000 attached to my non-B&O TV. I have been talking to some people about a Beosystem 7000 and hopefully will be buying one soon. I have never really liked subwoofers as I don't want to annoy my downstairs neighbors but
