My wife bought me a 16GB iPod Touch for Christmas. Its fantastic, I love it. I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can do with it in the new year. I'd love it to replace my Beo4. I lost interest in the Beo5 a long time ago, but this Touch would make a fantastic remote.

My UK B&O dealer has just asked for £400 for the Beo5. No way I'd pay that without the set-up software. I cancelled my order.

Do serial numbers & product numbers indicate the year of manufacture? Can I tell how old my products are?
