• Re: BeoLab 1 ?

Hi Martin, I don't know if you have had the opportunity in the past to compare the 8000's which you bought to the 6000's. If so, then I can tell you that at the time the BeoLab 1's first appeared, I thought they made the 8000's sound like little Pentas, and the 1's sounded like big 6000's. They are crisp, detailed, and image

  • Re: Beolab 1 vs. Beolab 6000's / 8000's / 3's

For my own purposes, I have always preferred the 6000's to the 8000's, as I think they sound a bit crisper/brighter/airier. This is mostly due to the balance between an essentially identical tweeter and smaller woofers. The 8000's sounded like little Pentas to me. If you can follow that logic, then the BeoLab 1's sound like big 6000's

  • Re: Will I be able to connect the Beolab 5 to a Pioneer SC-LX83???

But back to the OP You will need to purchase a Beo 4, and a set of RCA audio cables to connect the BeoLab 5's to the Pioneer's pre-amp outputs. The Beo 4 will be used to do the initial set-up on the BeoLab 5's and to turn them on an odd in every-day use.
Finally I found a place I can ask a normal B&O related question... without opening a PC vs. MAC or iOs vs. Android or Black vs. White type of debate. As the question asks above, I really want to buy a pair of Beo's 5 and probbaly a pair of 3's too, I was wondering if I'll be able to connect it to a normal

  • Re: Beovision 5 AR

As a matter of course, I have looked into this a little bit.... It seems that the glass panel on the BV-5 is not available as a separate part. No real surprise I suppose. So, in real terms you would order part # 3451777 currently selling for approximately $2000USD and receive an entirely new Plasma monitor. A bit stiff to be sure, but you're not

Hi John, The 15-pin VGA socket on the Avant/US is an output for a projector, not an input. To use a Mac you will need an adaptor which ends up in either a 3- or 5- connector RGB/Component video cable. You will also have ot set the Mac's output to 16:9 480p. Literally nothing else will work. On the other hand there are several outboard processors

What's that line? "Two people, separated by a common language"? Here in the States we refer to work as you describe as half-a$%d, not half-done.
LOL, well I think the difference being that a half-done design job is when we can see the "vision" of the designer
That doesn't necessarily mean that something needs to be added. I can design a chair in ten seconds flat. Getting the proportions and details right, however, would take me a while, since it's easy to draw four legs a back rest and a set, yet quite difficult to make the proportions play well together without
