    man cliffnotes: it uses an AM-modulated carrier freq. carrier frequency oscillator can be tuned to: 34.00kHz, 36.86kHz, 39.72kHz, 42.58kHz depending on button operated. modulation frequency generator is tunable to: 148Hz and 250Hz

  • beomaster 3300 power issues

    just came into possession of a bm3300. it will not power up. checked the fuses, everything is fine and clean. i could find nothing obvious... any thoughts? tia

    well, unless they are second-hand and also missing the earpads... thx to lifestyle-av for the replacement foam! w/ regards to the adapter -the jack is 3.5mm, though a 1/8" --to--> 1/4" adapter will work. so, the jack socket (at least on the older bm's) is 1/4" just make sure that it is "stereo" to "stereo" btw

    my form1's have arrived -now for the *stupid* question... the jack is apparently 3.5mm -what is the input size on the bm's? looks like 1/4" i need to buy an adapter. thx in advance

    just had the 6000 running for about (2) hours. the right side of the cooling fins is fine. moving from <right> to <left> w/ my hand - it gets hot at about the split of the panels -near the centerline. it is quite hot on the left side -i would not want to leave my hand there for too long -or i'd have stripes, permanently. with that said

    perfect! thx so much! -exactly what i was looking for! -also thx for the link to headphone site in this thread -good stuff!... though i will wait for a headphone shootout on this site before making an "official" purchase. i'd rather wait for something better matched to our chosen equipment.

    i also have the bc 2000 and 3300 w/ same exact issue. did you replace the belts? did that resolve the immediate play--to-->stop problem?
