well, i could not sit still. i have sourced a TCC TC-750LC phono preamp. i have decided to go with connecting the tx2 as it has the rca outputs and ground, and frankly looks better w/ the bc9300. it should be here shortly. i will report back w/ the results.

and that port is consumed by a cd50... well... i guess i'll have to start the quest for a bm5500. fun time.

having fiddled w/ a bg5500 all afternoon... i believe it is fine w/ the 5000. (i have both) as i understand it -the bg5000 is the radial / the bg5005 is the tangential / the bg5500 is simply a rebadged 5005. the name was changed when the 5500 series was launched. on another note... what other port on a bm5000 could i attach the 5500 to as the phono

ran into this very situation a few minutes ago... any suggestions for the external amp? i will be connecting a bc9300 to a bg5500. i have looked at a few on ebay... all seem to have rca jacks, are there any out there with dins? if not i may use a tx2 turntable w/ the rca leads and ground wire to the amp and then a din to rca lead from the amp to the

yes... i too had the same thing happen. the panels are still available. after sourcing them from denmark and several hours of work on the door mechanisms, i have a beautiful, fully functional bc9300. i agree they are well worth bringing back to life. the one in the video would be a good candidate (even as bad as it looks). i paid ~us100.00 for the lower

hi all, below is a *bump* from the general forum. i decided to repost it here in hopes that someone might have some advice. ++++ just came into possession of a bm3300. it will not power up. checked the fuses, everything is fine and clean. i could find nothing obvious... any thoughts? ++++ i just had it apart again out of frustration -same story. i get
