WHOA! the bc9000 has both amp and passive connectors - i thk alex was referring to the bs9000...
-
i'll buy one! how about something a bit different too? -hard to describe in words, but... an "enlargened" beoworld logo that spanned the whole tie? dark blue back w/ swirled swipes of light blue arching across -maybe a bit more "artsy" and perhaps subtle recognition... but just talking out loud here... also, maybe some die-cut
-
yeah! some fellow 2200 fans! lovely little speakers -maybe my favorite of all -for size, style, and of course sound! little confused though: it sounds like the leads from the speakers are not terminated in any way -correct? -there was another thread on this site that discussed testing speaker polarity w/ a 9v battery (if memory serves me right???)
-
ditto -save it! even if it is shot -it is still the finest paperweight ever!
-
please buy a surge strip too... cheap insurance.
-
david- thx for the fast response! good to hear, besides power i suppose i am worried about any type of possible "burn-in" -is that (can that) be an issue? -or is not a problem? btw, love it so far! thx again!
-
hi, quick q on the beo4 / a bit OT -just got my first, and perused manuals here and elsewhere + what was apparently the start of a beo4 faq on this site... my stupid question: is the display always on? or does it go to sleep / can it be turned off? TIA!

well, amp arrived and i won't bore you w/ the details as installation is about as basic as you can get. i went w/ the tx2 as i had little use for it (i am trying to go all b&o -so the non b&o receiver it was attached to will likely be leaving). all went well, and i started off w/ "radio" selected and set the volume low. hit play

...one of the things i love about forums (not just this one)... ...exposure to a new product. after reading this, i "BIN" the complete novus "kit" -great stuff so far. i have also used silver polish and "white" toothpaste -not gel for some more stubborn stains followed w/ 3M cutting polish and wax -works especially well
-
well... i am a b&o fan... but i happen to own denon also, not "denion"... not sure if "he" is trying to dis b&o or make a bad name for denon fans too... either way... <yawn>
