I agree with the powering off - also the other I noticed is that sometimes going into setup, sources and assigning the boxes again can get everything going.

I've used an MCL2P with S65's on an Avant as rear speakers and it works fine - the only problem was that i then preferred to the S65s to BL4000 and swapped them round, but you should be fine with CX50 or 100's. The other porblem is knowing what speaker type to set them to in the Avant Menu as all the speaker settings are for Beolab speakers

I would be interested also - I have a mustard Beolit 707 that is faded - I had thought of Metlic Purple or Blue would be different.

I have a Miele fridge and Vacume Cleaner and will buy Miele Washing Machine and DIshwasher when the Neff ones finally pack up - German products seem to last forever and much better quality/looks than others. I do have Siemens Kettle, Coffee Maker and Toaster - these are not as good - kettles are prone to leaking and the toaster can be eratic - i.e one

I can only add that I noticed a difference in the sound between a BS3000 hooked upto BL4000 and a 9500 hooked up to the same speakers. The 9500 seemed to have more bass but was wooly, the BS3000 much clearer but bass not as good even when adjusting the controlls. That said I wish I had had my S60's then and tried them with the 9500. I had a 9300

Only thing I can think of is either the ML module is faulty in the 9000 or the ML Cable may be faulty - did you use the same cable as you use in the Living Room?

Not a bad idea, especially if you hooked it upto a Lintronic box - that would give you automatic switching and control of the non b&o devices. Do you know who makes the infrared ones? Andrew

True, I doubt there is enough demand outside of these circles and a manual switchbox does the job but looks unsightly and messy. Maybe a BM5500 and Beogram CD would be better than my BS3000 with it's broken CD player and 1 input! It would also mean I wouldn't need a seperate pre-amp for the turntable!

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes, I looked at the Video ones and the problem is that they don't switch automatically for audio as they need the 5v (I think) signal on the scart lead in order to switch over. What's needed is something that senses an audio signal and then switches to it - bit like the active speakers switch on when they get an audio

Does anyone know if an automatic input selector (for the aux socket on beosounds) is yet on the market by anyone? Must be a great demand for something that could be hidden away and allows you to connect ipod, turntable etc. to a Beosound with only 1 aux socket. I beleive this has been discussed before and someone was going to look into producing one
