  • Re: Light Control

Hi, thanks for the replies - the Boscomm solution looks great - do you know where I can buy them in the UK - I could only see a retailers link on the website and tried searching the web - Would Lifestyle AV sell these - couldn't see them on the website

  • Light Control

Hi - couple of questions: I used to have an LC2 and read somewhere that there is a replacement manufactured by a Danish Company - could someone let me know what the replacement is and roughly how much in £. I'd like to order 3 to control different lights in my living room and wondered if you can still have different light scenes? I have a

  • Re: suitable media server

Hi - quick update to say thanks for the replies and I bought Apple TV 1 which arrived on Friday - I've ordered an HDMI to Composite converter as I couldn't get the hack to work. Apple TV works fantastically well with the Avant, does everything I want and can be hidden away - it's brilliant and I'm very happy with it - so thanks again

  • IR Splitter

Hi - can anyone let me know if I can use a standard headphone splitter in order to connect two IR blasters to my Avant STB-C - the devices are different i.e SKY+ and Apple so it shouldn't make any difference if the same signal is sent to both as one shouldn't react to the others codes?

  • Re: Masterlink Cable / Chimney

I think I'd consult a builder as maybe it would be possible to take up some of the tiles and have a channel cut and then the cable laid in there and the tiles laid back on top. Other thoughts are to find out what's on the outside of the walls the products are on as the cable could go round the outside of the house in a suitable conduit. Whatever

Thanks, yes, I think maybe a an old Mac TV box would do it as I'm not that bothered about Games unless my nephew is visiting. And then wait until there is somehing available that gives music and internet radio etc (Can't afford a BS and BM5)

Hi - yes a new iPod will still work with the Onkyo, but the graphics are quite limited and the newer stuff includes Album covers - on the other hand the graphics are only used to navigate and a screen saver comes on in any case after a minute I think the PS3 sounds like a good idea - I hadly ever take my iPod out with me so portability is not that great

PS3 sounds quite attractive and I'm wondering if that can be controlled by the PUC as I seem to remember seeing Playstation on it as well as Apple? Do you know if it displays Album COvers - it would also be quite neat as I could use it instead of DVD1 and sell that to help with the cost

  • Re: Option Settings - Beolink Active and MC4002 in the same room

Actually, that's true, the cable won't take long but installing it will! - thanks for the suggestion - I will try that tonight Andrew
