I agree with what has been said. Try and go for the BV7. The 32" BV8 is a nice tv, but if your room is anywhere a decent size, you'll lust for a larger screen, and the BV7 really is the best B&O "bargain" out there for a main set / system master. JK also makes a good point, the stock for the BV7 bare bones (sans optical drive

Oops, neglected to address the BL5 with a digital connection to the sound system. Looking at the BL5 guide, page 9 has a diagram which illustrates an ML connection from a BV5 to a BS9000, with a digital out from the BS9000 to one BL5, and another digital cable from the out of one speaker to the IN of the last speaker. I would imagine that the system

I have the same (if not much much cheaper system in my home) BS9000 to a BV8... the only wire out of the BS9000 (apart from the power cable) is a masterlink cable connected to the television. If no speakers are connected to your BS9000 (all speakers connected to the BV5), the BS9000 should be option 0 (it's IR eye is OFF), and the TV which would

Definitely go hear the speakers you're considering for yourself. I prefer the BL3 BL2 combination. (I used to own BL8000s along with the BL2). The BL3 sound "rounder" to my ears. I listen to an eclectic mix of music, so bring with you some CDs and audition as many speakers as you can. I do like the look of the 8000s, though the size and

Haven't these rumors about the 9000 being discontinued been wafting around for the past couple of years? I do think, though, that the limited edition white would be a sign that discontinuation was at least being considered if it were not for the fact that other products were also being marketed in white. I agree with other posters that the 9000

Having done some more reading on these forums, maybe I shouldn't continue thinking about a BV7 (sans-disc). I would assume that these newer panel-only wonders are MkiV? If so, there are quite a few beophiles who are having a dandy time with their BV7 MkIV's. Oh well, who knows! LOL Sal

Has anyone in the States purchased the relatively new BV7 option without an optical drive and speaker? I am contemplating selling a few B&O items to fund this new set, but wanted opinions... Prices seem to range from $6000 and up, I am curious why a BS3 costs more than a BV7 modualr option if it's essentially the same thing. In any case, I'd

Zugn: Favorite? Bell &Ross. Maybe i like these brands with "B & ..."? But i don't have any Bell&Ross watch. Don't have so much money to spend it for these watches! Spend all my money for B&O things! I have always loved Bell & Ross, especially since I got to try on my dream watch: BR03-92 Military Spec... My wrists are
