Hmm Dunno, good question. I won't know until next week as I am away for the weekend (well as soon as I can escape from work) I'll try this as soon as I can and will report back Gary

Originally my LX 6000 (?) was connected to the Beomaster 7000 using the datalink cable and speakers attached to the hifi Speakers 1 socket and the MCL system for the remainder of the house tapped into the 3 (or4?) pin din Speaker 2 socket. All seemed to work a treat. The LX finally gave ghost and I have updated to BV4(37") c/w a Beosystem 2. Recently

Hey thanks for a swift response. To sum the connections... Beomaster 7000:Beolink Converter 1611 (Datalink cable - TV/Aux socket to Datalink Socket) Beomaster7000:Beolink Converter 1611 (Powerlink cable (mark 1 - it's very thin) - Powerlink socket to Powerlink Socket) Beosystem 2:Beolink Converter 1611 (ML Cable - ML socket to ML Socket) Beosystem

Phil, I wonder if you remember the question or even your answer back last November. I have a similar set up Beosystem 2 to Beomaster 7000 via a 1611 converter. Speakers attached to the tele, Tele sound - no probs, but I can only get HiFi sound in the lounge with the TV on by going AV CD or AV Radio for instance. If I press CD or Radio without the TV

Jonnie you got PM! I think that's what they say - I sent you an email (hopefully) after clicking something near your name. Gary

Jonnie, The distance between the Beomedia and the Beosystem 2 is about a foot/18 inches, so if the cumulative lengths of the offcuts matched that it would be marvellous. but beggars can't be choosers! Gary

Hi Thank you for looking I am seeking a jointed piece of ML Cable all joined up with three plugs so I can join Hifi, TV and Beomedia together. So in an ideal world someone will have one of those collecting dust that they are willing to sell on, if so fab, get in touch we'll agree a price (including postage) and I'll find a way of getting cash

Going Twice! So Freecycle it is then

Peter, Thanks for reading through my oh so long message and replying. I didn't before last night but I do now I have used the thin powerlink cable that was previously giving me grief AND using the B&O config program's advice switched to Option 1 on the Audio Master. Humph - still nothing! Does this powerlink cable also need to be fully wired
-
Dear all, I think I am nearly there... The old house is wired in MCL and in the bedrooms where we have BV6 or newer MX4000 TVs they are happily co-existing with type 1615 beolink converters, radio cd etc throughout the house - I love it. The union of the BS7000 and BS2 seems more or less sorted as I can channel the sound from the BS2 to speakers in
