  • Re: So.. why do you buy Bang & Olufsen?

This could be a long answer. Going way back bot set of grandparents had B&O and I was attracted to it being a palisander BM2000('70s) and a pair of Beovox S45-2 from 1979 which I do own these days. Growing up it was more of getting something cheaply that worked mostly a colour tv for the home computer. I never really had any hifi or B&O

  • Re: Is the Beosystem 7000 still a good buy?

My experience with a BS9000 this fall versus a Beosystem 6500 came to that my fear of just cd's only really were not going to be the primary way so the BS9000 is now sold but again its another of many great B&O products aviable. I do listen to cassete tapes, DAT, vinyl and cd's but I don't mind only using 1 cd at the time. Again the

  • Re: AV9000 transport how to

Yes there is a way. There are 2 black plastic handles that locks the monitor in place right below it. You need to turn both so they unlock. Merry Christmas to all.

  • Re: What Are You Working On Now ?

Right now I'm testing my second BM6500 as number 1 started to smell of something burned and then only switching on for a second before swithching of. It lasted 1 1/2 week working great otherwise. Number 1 had had bad outputs and several other faults due to some former "repair" which Dillen cured. Number 2 had a dead cpu among other things

  • Re: Austerity measures!!

If B&O is too expensive your income is wrong! Krises come and go but B&O will always be here! Can you say that when you are 85 years old?

  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

I just got my BM6500 back and another BC6500. Dillen has done great work fixing it. I'm just testing the whole Beosystem 6500 with the extra BC6500. Now it's the BC6500 at the bottom playing a TDK MA-XG recording Master of Puppets by Metallica that I had done on my BC9000 from the vinyl to test it.

  • Re: Beolink 1000

It reminds me of getting my Beovison LX5500 from an auction some years ago. The Beolink 1000 did not work but I could turn the LX on by the buttons. I went straight ahead down to the nearest B&O shop and got the print replaced. The LX and Beolink 1000 still works to this day.

  • Re: Flash your B&O!

Spend the most of the day going to Copenhagen. 8 hours by train! Just serviced from Dillen I got 2 BM6500 and a BC6500. My main BM6500 had bad outputs and some former repairs were done as lousy as you can imagine. Now its back to new in specs and plays wonderfully! Thank you Dillen! • Re: Beolab double configuration with Beosound and Beovision

I can tell you that a Beosound X in option 0 connected by ML to Beovision X in option 1 works great regardless of how many pairs of Beolabs you have connected to the Beovision X. With Beolabs the amp is in the speakers so it does not matter where you connect them.
