Picturediscs? On my former Beogram 8002 No Life To Leather and Power Metal demos by Metallica! Early 1982 with Dave Mustaine on leadguitar. Bootleg.

Clear vinyl and tangitial Beograms? My former Beogram 8002 with the clear vinyl version of Down to earth by Rainbow. The Beogram had no trouble playing it.

Well it all depends but I do think its more than just the BM8000 that needs work in this case. It reminds of my Beosystem 6000 back in the fall of 2007. All 3 units like BM6000, BG6006 and BC6000 in white edition. I already knew it was rare even in Denmark and Dillen could do the service but it will still cost for travel and the service + time. All

Do you have a repair solution on hand? As you already know it needs service you better have that issue cleared. The Beocord properly needs belts and lubrication here and there. The Beogram might work but if is an 8000 then the tacho disc might be falling apart and generally new caps will make sure the arm does not get stuck at some point. Make sure

I just got the first album by Budgie recorded in 1971. Just love it despite not knowing all the songs. Currently playing it on the BG6500. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H6GSYOByZs&feature=related

Currently I have one link room which is the kitchen where I have a pair of white Beovox CX100. Even though I'm using the early '90s MCL 2047 passiv boxes it really is a wonderfull option to have. It saves on having to turn up the volume in the "office" to hear it in the kitchen which is good as I live in a flat. I can control anything

No Dillen looks way better. I've met him a couple of times allready.

You will need the optional Beosystem 6000 remote or Beolab 8000 but I do recommend the first one. http://radioogtveksperten.dk/tilbehoer-44/fjernbetjeninger-46/beomaster-terminal-6000-344.html

No Beomaster 5000 runs on different remote codes than the later Beosystem like 5500,6500,7000 and so on. This means that no Beo4 or Beolink 1000 will work. You will need the MCP5000 or 5000 remote for it. A 3rd option is the remote kit that is hard to find. The kit konverts the 5000 IR signals to Beolink 1000/Beo4 etc.
