  • Re: S80.2 speaker repair

I have both S80.2 and S120 in white edition as well as you might know. I agree with laminate and that it holds up really well.

  • Re: Your latest purchase?

Chris I could use all retaining pegs for my Beovox M150 covers. All 4 of them in total. They are all broken. So if you find a solid solution please send a pm. My CDX still works since you did lefthinge some years ago. I'm glad my Beovox S120 only had rot and my Bevox M150 are scratched but not deep. I do hope you do a thread with clear instructions

  • Re: Flash your B&O!

I just got my Beocord 6000 back from Dillen today. The last piece of the puzzle that started back in the fall of 2007 with just the 3 units in barely working but fine looking. That is my white edition Beosystem 6000 with BM6000, BC6000 and Beogram 6006 (only 2 white ones are known Dillen has the other in private). Dillen has much of the honor here.

  • Re: beomaster 6500

The BM6500 will power all Beovox and Beolabs as well. Some Beovox would be better suited though. The output is mot likely around 2*55 not 110 as stated so make sure the Beovox's can handle that. What is better is up to you and your ears. Do you like the design better? Do you like the sound better? Do you need everything being controlled with a Beolink

  • Re: IR eye for Beosystem 5500?

I thought you might. Anyway I got no use for the code converter kit as its rather incomplete and Beolink 1000 option for BM6000 or BM8000 is not that important and I can wait for the day when a complete kit will turn up. This means that yes you can have it. I looked through the system manual and it does confirm that item: 8920010 is the correct sensor

  • Re: IR eye for Beosystem 5500?

The original type was 2001 acording to the system manual for 1988/89 which I have in a original printed copy. It looks like the old MCP type tranciver panel but has only a send and recieve circuit installed. It should be connected via the SENSOR plug on the back of the BM5500. It looks like one used MCP tranciver panel which I got. Grey with just the

  • Re: Peculiar discovery!

I have 2 terminals for my 2 BM6000 and 1 that is correct for my BM8000. I do use Duracell but I seldom change them. Mostly I'm only using 1 type 2035 and it does get used these days quite often for my white edition Beosystem 6000. Recently I discovered that the functions for a Beocord works great like supposed with a Beocord 5500 added to the older

  • Re: beogram cd7000

So far you got it right. It should touch the front as I recall. You will have to figure out which position works and bent it carefully if you have to. What happens moving it to so it touches the front? My CD6500 had a 3-5 second opening time which also came from a move.

  • Re: beogram cd7000

You will need to unscrew the 2 screws or so in the back which will make you able to slide the top of the cd7000 of. Now locate the middle section and you will see a switch which activates the lid. Push open a few times and you will see how it moves. You will most likely need to bend it just a bit to get it right. After that put the top on and tighten
