If you value sound quality and having something unique more than anything else go the Serenata, otherwise almost any phone on the market will serve you better.

I can't speak for the product in general but its always been better for a hard drive to spin constantly than to be shut on/off. Most failures occor when a drive is turned on/off.

No problems with Windows 7 at all, its B&O who aren't bothering to keep up with current technology and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they abandoned Beoport now.

An error occured during USB driver setup Aborting installation If you were one of the many who upgraded to Windows 7 or Vista (x64) then move right along...
Do you also need the new Beoline? I was told the full package ran to about £600
That's about the same ballpark figures I got today. Got to have a quick play around with it too, the build quality is amazing and feels great in your hands.

Have they released pricing or an estimate?

He's always been quite critical of B&O but still its good to see a write up in an Australian publication.

I would also recommend any current Sony product if your main concern is sound quality. I usually stay right away from anything proprietary from Sony but ATRAC was just amazing and I kind of wish it went mainstream. Also, if you were serious about sound the A8's shouldn't even be mentioned. B&O make some high end headphone gear please!!!

Still version 5.02.1. My dealer is telling me an update will be released shortly.
