  • Re: Beo4 compatible media center PC

I had never heard of this before but just did a quick search online as your post raised my curiosity and I think I had success...are you referring to the Pietroguerra FLeX 4.2 media center? I found it at mini-itx.com and it says it is Beo 4 compatible.

  • Re: BeoMedia 1? Or not?

I have the exact same questions and concerns as you. Our PC and Beoport are located elsewhere in the house. I think the inability to navigate causes us to use it less than we would otherwise. Upgradeing from the Beosound 3000 to a BC2 or BS4 is one possibility but still would yield only a small display, not usable without getting up close. Beomedia

  • Re: Beolab 3 or Beolab 9

A little off topic, but any opinions on replacing a Velodyne HGS 12 sub woofer with a Beolab 2? My wife loves the Velodyne and does not want to give it up, is afraid Beolab 2 wont have enough bass.

Yes, it was in a Chicago area store....sounds like you heard them the same place I did.

Thanks for all of the input. I listened to the 9s at the dealer but unfortunately it was difficult to tell how they sounded due to a large fountain in the atrium outside the store making large amounts of noise. However, what we we could hear, did not impress us. However, as the dealer is offering a great sale price and 30 days to try them out I would

Thanks for the input. We have a Velodyne HGS 12 connected to the surround sound. It is the model USA B and O dealers sold before the Beolab 2 was introduced.

  • Re: Beolab 2+3 verses 9

If the AB amplifiers sound better than the the ICE in the mid and uppers, why do the 5s use ICE for everything?

  • Re: Beolab 2+3 verses 9

I think I found it, Beolab 9 is 100 watts, and not ICE. Why do the 3s and 5s use ICE power and the 9 does not, except for the400 watt bass?

  • Beolab 2+3 verses 9

I was looking at some specifications, and correct me if I am wrong....Beolab 9 had 5 inch midrange, Beolab 3 has 4 1/2 inch midrange, both have acoustic lens for the uppers, beolab 9 has two 400 watt woofers and Beolab 2 is 850 Watts. Wouldn't Beolab 2+3 give almost the same effect as Beolab 9? Also, what is the wattage on Beolab 9 mid and upper
