Hi all, although i have the service doc i can't really find the answer to these... -is it possible without further changes to exchange a 14 bit CDM2 with a 16 bit CDM4 , so both the cd mechanism and the decoder board are swapped...? -how to change the setup of these so it will react to a remote, this one doesn't probably because it is set up

One option is to give it away for spares, the other option, depending on the type and problem with the tube is fixing it either by 'burning and tapping' it clean again or getting a replacement tube from anywhere but B&O as they are cheap (as said: depending on the type), also depending of where you are based of course :). Weet iemand welk apparaat uit de STB lijst (in een BV3-32) gekozen moet worden om de UPC digitale kabeltuner (in mijn geval met ingebouwde hdr) te kunnen bedienen ? Zelfs als ik een Thomson uit de lijst kies, geen reactie, terwijl de tuner van UPC origineel een Thomson is...de IR zender werkt wel (gechecked met een camera).

Die uren (dagen) teller zeggen toch weinig, immers of een tv op max contrast of laag contrast is gebruikt en bv veel in de zon heeft gestaan maakt veel meer uit dan een paar branduren meer of minder. Veel van deze buizen krijgen niet problemen door 'ouderdom' maar door een 'fout' in de buis en dat kan na bv 3 jaar weinig gebruik zijn

Is het zwart nog echt zwart en het wit nog echt wit ??(bv bij teleteks kun je zien of zwart ook echt zwart is). Verandert het in de tijd ? (dus als ie langer aan staat).
