  • Beosystem3 owners: wire management and heat question

Yesterday, I placed my order with B&O for my new system, which will include a BS3. I'd love to hear some experiences and advice from some other BS3 owners. 1. Wire management: I understand how all the wires plug in the front and run to the back on either side of the unit. I've not seen a BS3 that wasn't already in a cabinet, so I'm

  • Re: Help on an AV Setup

Thank you all for the outstanding advice. I had no idea there were wall mounts for the 6000's-- will definately check them out. Also agree with soundproof-- will likely upgrade to 8000's or BL8's in the coming year, plus a BL2 sub. You're right too, this set-up isn't designed to be the fanatics home theater. I only watch a DVD once

Wow-- great advice, and thanks for setting up the thread. Where I have netted out with my local B&O dealer is the following: Beosystem 3 BeoVision 4-50 TV (the picture looks so great on units I've seen, I can't imagine 1080p would improve PQ sufficiently to make a big enough difference in my set-up or to my eyes.) BeoLab 7-2 center BeoLab

  • Re: Beosystem 3 wall mounting question

Thanks Corvin. That is what I was hoping for. I'm really trying to make sure all or as much of the wiring in my setup will be completely hidden.

  • Beosystem 3 wall mounting question

I am getting a BS3 and plan to wall mount it. Has anyone else done this, and will the wires leading out from the bottom of the BS3 going into the wall be visible in any way? Thanks!

  • Re: DVD and BL4000 vs BL4 rears recommendation

Thanks Corvin & jk. I agree the BC2 is fantastic, but I'm WAY over budget on this system. I'm more in the area of a non-B&O dvd player-- at least for now. Several Panasonic, Denon, Samsung and Sony dvd players are supported-- I'm curious if anyone has a particular model they have been very happy with. Thanks~~~

  • DVD and BL4000 vs BL4 rears recommendation

Thanks in advance to all of you who have posted suggestions to my prior posts seeking advice for my home theater set-up. Two remaining decisions: DVD player and rears. Kit will be BV 4-50 TV, BS3, BL7-2 center, BL6000's fronts. Question on rears: Can a pair of BL4's do the job or should I get a pair of BL4000's? Rears will be ceiling mounted

  • Re: Beolab 7.1 vs Beolab 4000's as center channel

Thank you all for the input. clearly it's the BL7's for this set up. Thanks for the suggerstion on the 7.2's, barney. I hadn't considered them because I thought they may be too large under the 50".

  • Re: Apple TV - Using one with an SD TV

I have ordered the cable from svideo mentioned in an earlier post. It is supposed to ship the end of this month. Once I have tried it with an AppleTV and Beovision Avant, I will post my comments.

Thanks for the quick input, Coolskin. That's very helpful information. Are you using 4000's as rears as well?
