Does anyone currently use a Tivo DVR in conjunction with their BS3? I just purchased the new Tivo HD and connected to my BS3 in place of the cable company DVR. Device works fine but the Beo4 remote does not control the Tivo. I have switched the settings on the BS3 from the cable box to the PhillipsTivo setting, and the controls show up when I press

Hi Mike~~ The dealer did the sw upgrade in my home. I just purchased a whole new system, so it was part of the install. I don't know if the dealers typically charge for sw upgrade house calls, but I would think they would do it for free-- particularly if you have a good relationship with the dealer. It only takes about 10 minutes to upgrade, and

Yes, Guzzler. As noted earlier in my post, it's working fine for me in Beosystem 3 set-up. You need to have the latest sw installed by your dealer. Starting with v3.0, AppleTV control by the Beo remote is supported. Latest sw version as on June 2007 is v3.1.

Hi Karsten~~ Yes, I'm in the US. If your dealer can upgrade your BS3 software to the latest version (3.1???), the Beo4 will control the AppleTV perfectly. I connected mine via HDMI and use the VMEM button to access. We also discovered that connecting the R/L audio cables were necessary to allow the BS3 to control the AppleTV. Don't know why

Sorry-- yes, I meant the BV 4-50. The mind is a terrible thing to waste... Thanks for all the input. I've sent comments to my dealer, and will see if the flash he did is for the 3.1 when I get back to town next week.

Don't know for sure. I have an Beovision Avant as well, and my dealer told me it would likely need a new chip to take the upgrade. I haven't looked to much into it yet, but would think the same thing would be true for the BS1. If I learn more, I'll post it here. Cheers~~

My local dealer just flashed the latest sw update to my new BeoSystem 3 set-up. The upgrade includes control for the AppleTV-- works just about perfectly. The only difference I have found so far is that the scroll up/down that flows so fluidly using the Apple remote, is click-click-click with the Beo4. All in all though-- very outstanding.

Has anyone experienced this issue? When I power off (put into standby) the BS3/BV7 system, the red light on the remote eye goes solid red, starts blinkingand keeps blinking. One more press on the Beo4 remote standby button turns it off. Is this normal? Assuming not, what is the fix? If it is of any importance, the other issue is that the DVD player

Thanks all for the quick input. Glad to hear this is normal. I like Corvins advice: just more time to admire the equipment! Now if my B&O dealer can get the system to play nice with the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD cable PVR and Samsung Blu-Ray, I'll be in business... and more relaxed to enjoy looking at the set-up! HI all~~ The local B&O dealer just finished installing my BS3/BV4-50 system. Love it, love it, love it. However, one thing I have noticed compared to my other Avant set-up, is how long it takes to power-up the system. For example, when I press TV on the Beo4 remote, it takes about 20+ seconds from button press to speakers turning on to picture on
