Still have an Avant with surround module with 4 BL1 and 1 BL2 supporting DVD 5.1 audio with speaker5 setting. Sometimes, DVD dependent, voices from center speaker are quite thin relative to the other sound sources. Back in business with BM 5. Dealer replaced motherboard to the "Dec 2009 spec upgrade" and provided excellent service & update of progress & reinstallation. Well done Chris ! PS. despite a BS 3200, the capabilities of BM5 / BS5 were truly missed.

Congratulations to whoever has the chance to buy a 7700 ! I have one from 1985. Completely overhauled in 2005 it works as strong as ever. I would also agree on the S45 (check foam rot). Mine had to be redone in 2004, but with a second life now. The 7700 system with original remote is doing its job in a standalone setting apart from m/l. A great icon

agree that a WiFi card would increase standalone options. However, with 3 BL wireless stations a setup like mine with BM5/BS5, BS3200, Avant and 2 linkrooms is possible without wifi card ...it is working flawlessly

Beo 6... finally, Beosound 5 functionality takes a big step... I truly hope that B&O improves its "focus group process". Any buyer of Beosound 5/BM 5 would have argued for the availability of Beo 6 from the start... Better later than never but still great news !
