Concur with a lot that has been said ... enjoying BL 1s in two rooms with different settings. BL1 with BL2 are an excellent combination BL1 are excellent as rear speakers in a surround setting BL 1 are very sensitive to room placement and wall - corner - free setting. One may need to play a bit. IMHO, an excellent speaker, with outstanding craftmanship

Mir geht es ähnlich wie Rolando. Habe die 9er im Direktvergleich gehört und werde sie später mal für den Linkraum kaufen. Die 1er als Surroundbox (4 x zusammen mit BL2) ist halt nicht so leicht zu ersetzen.

Kann Bernd und Rolando nur zustimmen. Klang ist Geschmacksache. Ich habe vier BL1 im Wohnzimmer und 2 in einem weiteren Raum. War selber erstaunt wie gut sie sich einer neuen Umgebung anpassen... Auch finde ich die ganze Bauart faszinierend ...

The four BL1 in the main room are all black. Their footprint is not that overwhelming and depending on how you fit them in the room (close to other high furniture / corner location) etc, they fit in very well. I have the BL1 and BL2 in the front and BL1 in the rear. With an Avant and speaker setting 4 the home theater experience is perfect.
