I am not a big fan of the look of the BL3. How much better are the 4000 vs 2500?

I have a BS3200 system that is current not being used (my speakers are hooked up to something else) and I have been looking for new speakers - possiblely for my bedroom/office.... I like the BL4000 - but there are many BL2500 on ebay at reasonable prices. I am not sure I want to spend over $US1,000 for a pair of 4000's or more for the Lab3 - unless

wait a minute! I had a pair of A8's and wanted very much to like them - but Hated them! These types of in the ear sets (like the ones supplied with ipods, etc) only fit certain types of ears. For the vast majority of people, they fit great - but they dont fit (actually the problem is that they dont stay in my ears at all - always falling out) Try

Since I connected my BL8K/2 to my new pre-amp all is good. However, whenever I mute or pause the sound for a bit - the speakers will turn off (yes, I know part of how they work) Is this constant on/off bad for them? Is there a way that I can prevent them from going off even if there is no audio signal going to them? -michael

I have a Beo6000 with an extra charging base (and a new battery) - the phone is hardly used since I went completely cellular a few years back. Any interest in a trade? -michael

What are the specific Logitech and/or Philips remotes that people like that work with the B&O? There appears to be zillions of models and it is hard to find one that I like and will work with B&O...... and will probably need to buy online so returning it might be a problem -michael
