Sam e topic , I have often wondered if it can be split again so you have three , how many times can you do this ? Suppose it depends how powerful the feed is , obviously all fire at the same time but only the targeted device understands the flash ? Richard

  • Best software question again 7-40mk3

Hi all . Can anyone recommend the best version of software for a BV7-40 Mk3 ? Got some picture quality issues , bit of pixilation around the SKY banners and poor black level , worse towards the right side . My dealer is going to update the software from what it is now ( 05.08a ) he thinks will be a fix . Done a bit of a search here and some don’t’

  • Re: Out of date so quick

Pity a panel can’t drop in like a toaster as new technology arrives . Think I will get a engineer to come and have a look , impressed with it when I got it and no comparison in style with other tv’s , got to be a problem with it , shouldn’t have deteriorated that quick . Richard

Got to change my BV7 Mk3 , since I put a new D panel Samsung in the spare bedroom I can see the poor picture quality the 7 has . When I first got this 7 I thought the picture was great , I can only think the picture has deteriorated and am now looking for faults . Quite a bit of pixilation , most noticeable around words ( like the Sky banners ) and

I've got a SP-A900B connected to a BeoSystem3 for my 90" cinema . A few years old now but excellent picture , probably better ones about now . The Lintronic and 3 switch it on and off and that's all you need on a daily basis , I have never been into the projector menu since it was installed , haven't needed to adjust anything . Have

  • Out of date so quick

Difference between now and the 70's to 90's is back then you got something that was the arguably the best , and didn't have to or need replacing for many years . I put off my purchase of a BV7-40 from a BV3 until the Mk3 came out , thought at the time WOW what a picture , this picture quality will last me for years . How wrong I was , I

  • Re: software of beomaster 4500

I've done three of these 3500 conversions and as far as I can see work as a 4500 . striped the grey lids on two of them to reveal the polished plate beneth and black gloss paint on the third , far better than the horible grey. Richard

HI . I'm no expert but I think they are the same with a different outer casing and this chip is the 3500 to 4500 change . Just one thing the master must have is the double IR eye behind the bump under the front right edge , some early one's did'nt , should be able to see it with a torch . This conversion is only of use if you have a Beo7000
