  • Re: Beovision 10-40 picture problems with fast moving images

I have had the same problem on my 18 month old BV10-46 and was advised by my dealer (who was told by an engineer at Struhr) that you set the TV to game mode in the picture menu. It is not permanent in the sense that it reverts to standard mode when you switch off and (I think) change channels. It works perfectly. It was also golf (and cricket) that

  • Re: Beovision 10 - 46 Dont bye it :-(

I agree with Oli, I've had the BV10-46 for 9 months and not a single problem. The Ashes cricket on sky HD was super quality especially since we won ! I've never had any clouding issues with any source including streamed photos which leave large amounts of black screen when viewing portrait style photos. Best Wishes

  • Re: BV10 thoughts after one year launch?

I Have had my BV10-46 for 6 months now and it is now better than ever. When I first posted about the new purchace I thought it was fantastic but indicated that there was a small problem with cameras following fast moving small objects (ie cricket and golf balls). They occasionally became blurred and with multiple images of the ball. My dealer inquired

  • Re: BV10-46, any feedback?

Following on from my "I couldn't resist" postThe BV10-46 was delivered and fitted two weeks ago. It was £8000 inluding the wall mount. It is a like for like swap on our wall for the old BV-5 and takes up almost exactly the same amount of wall space as you can see in the photo above. With Sky HD we have three means of receiving TV

  • Re: Speaker 4?

I often use speaker 2. I find it a much fuller sound than 3 and spkr 3 doesn't give that much of a boost to the centre channel. I use spkr 4 for sports program as it gives an impression of the crowd in the stadium.

Thanks for your thoughts markiedee, pictures to come and picture info when it arrives. Malcolm, the uk dealerships used to do a £500 trade in but that is not available at the moment. It will be sad to see the Avant go but the old BV5 will be brilliant in its place. Richard

  • BV10-46 Yes,I couldn't resist.

After telling myself I should not be an early adopter I put the deposit down for a BV10-46 today. It will replace my BV5 on a like for like basis on the living room wall. The BV5 moves up to the bedroom replacing a 1994 green Avant (VHS). Hopefully it will be installed at the end of the month. I can't wait. It will be interesting to hear the sound

  • Re: Beovision 10 screen sizes

Thanks for the further info Peter. I assume that I will be able to operate the timer function on the Beosound 9000 if the new TV has no such function available. Richard

  • Re: Beovision 10 screen sizes

At a recent publicity event to introduce the BV10 which my wife and I visited a gentleman from B&O head office was present. I also asked if a bigger screen size would be available. He said that the BV10 was the launch of a family and that a 46in would be available some time next summer (approximately). This is brilliant news as I am waiting for
