Does any one know why the line in/line out on the BM7000 is covered by a plastic Din plug & is it usable & if so how do you access it on the Beo4 or Beolink 7000 Simon

Hi Chris, Is the connection panel AKA Beosystem 3 exactly the same as the standalone version & also does it connect directly or is it a separate box & lead like on the BV9. Simon

Hi Frank, I have connected a hockey puck sensor to a MCL 2A with no problems except that as I only used three wires for +5v, ground & data you cannot use any of the buttons, only by remote control. Regards Simon

Hi Paddy, I am only answering this post as my missus is due to give birth today New years eve of all days & of course we cannot go partying , so anyway here I am I think your problem could be down to power issues i.e. power surges etc upsetting the sensitive electronics, have you got or can you try a surge protector on the equipment, the reason

Hi Nick do you have any more info regarding running a cable to the Bm7000 as I could then use one of the newer round IR sensors which I know work with the BM7000 as this would then enable me to have the control I want. I do have a BL7000 but do not really use it mainly a Beo4, I may yet sell the BL7000 to fund a Beo5. Tell me more about the "Heath

Looking for any info about controlling a BM7000 in a cabinet but not using a extra speaker kit as I am already using one of these for the kitchen, I just want to put the BM7000 in a cabinet Had posted tn general forum http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/74244.aspx

You have to log in to the routers IP address which will probably be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 the paperwork that came with will tell you exactly, you will then need to either go to setting or security I can't remember which one off hand & set up your secure access for wireless & while your there password protect access to the actual router
