Hi, Anyone have any idea how to use the SP/DIF input on a Beosystem 2? The manual says just plug it into SP/DIF 1, but it also insists on having the SCART feed the audio as well (at least in the manuals it does unless the source is VGA). In fact removing the SCART cuts the audio completely, suggesting to me that the SP/DIF connection just isn't

i can imagine how you can think that, but the TV business works differently to those other industries.. $60bn pa of revenue is gained via the MSOs, IPTV and Satellite paytv operators and these contracts are not easy for the content owners to wean themselves off as they need this for content creation costs. cord-cutting isn't happening with the total

Fantastic! After idly setting then unsetting the V.Opt options for the Beosystem 3 a few times, it has now sprung into life! I'll be VERY keen not to change much for quite a while! Thanks all for your suggestions - I guess I'll have to put this down to B&O foibles.....
