Hey Beomud; I have a BS 1 and i also happen to live in Australia. I belive booth your sources as well as your TV needs to be capable of NTSC; i've set my DVD to output in NTSC and my TV manages that as well.... any thoughts on the NTSC/PAL issue between plasma and BS3?

Besides the different power voltage - which can be fixed with a voltage transformator....would the NTSC / PAL make a conflict? Can you controll the outsignal from the BS3 to be either NTSC or PAL? Or vice versa- can you control the BV4? And the last and final question....what panel sits in a BV 4 type#: 8951 / item: 1895126? How old is this panel and

guys.....take a deep breath, count to then and then realise these are different experiences / opinions are having....got to be respected without getting personal.... I can relate to booth sides of the story....at the end of the day, we all love our different brands and we will defend them to the death not always seen the logic or stance from another

Thanks all for input...looks like i need to get a quote for a BV4 as well then..... What is the price gap between a BV4 and BV9 or BV 7 MK3? maybe that is becoming an option....well at least a very expensive option though.... Klas

Have a US BS1 today and a old LG 42" plasma.....been following the BS3 threads for a while as I've been keen on getting a upgrade...but not sure if its worth it... Is the sound or video quality better compared to the BS1? Will i notice a difference? What non B&O panel gives you the best result - Panasonic seems to be the preferred - reading

i remember a few years ago there was a lot of "scam" e-bay post with Beo visions/sound from china members- but never seen anything about "fake"products made in china......

Just replaced my BL 4000's with a BL3's for my homecomputer- however when connecting there is a "humming" coming out of the tweeter - this wasn't the case for my BL 4000's I'm using the old cable as i didn't want to reroute the cable - could it be that i need to get newer versions of the cables that are shielded? Think

Thanks guys - much appreciated and helpful At the moment i just need a quick & dirty solution for my friend who is staying for a few months and wants to listen to his music - he doesn't get to play it on my system :) Starting to look at alternative "digitalized" home solutions - will see what i get....
