this is excellent Santiago; appreciated - i assume that pin 2 & 7 are connected with a piece of wire/solding?? Will get the solding iron up tonight and start working on my first "bypass" :)

ohh....my source was this forum - seperate thread - where someone mentioned 4.0; I don't have a 2nd source but i'll inquire next week when the service store opens their ports

hopefully last question on this thread; should i select B&O BV4-50 d9 or d9 HD? My version is a 1080i and not the 1080p but its d9 - panel: TH-50PH9WK

Intresting thread....never considered until read it :) What does the expert says; should i bother to change? What i have: BS3, 2xBL5 as fronts, 7.1 as Centre and 2xBL3's as surrond. Option 1: Keep as is Option 2: Remove BL 7.1 and just use the L&R BL5's - does BS3 software allow this? Option 3: Replace BL 7.1 with a BL3 (can't afford

I managed to get hold of the Panasonic 50" d9 Commercial model from a good friend who worked for Panasonic (If anyone is keen on a 5mth 42" version he might still have this- edit: This has now been sold) Anyhow - Beogen and 355f; you seem to have a lot of experience within this specific area; Should i manually select the B&O 50 plasma

thanks Moxxey - i'll give them a call and see if they are feeling nice this year....my unit got shipped from fabric two days before 4.0 got released so i'm keen on getting the new one and trying it out

do we still have to hand it in to a service shop to get the SW upgraded or someone been able to get hold of software and patches so It can be done ourselves?....its a lot of hassle to get them updated each time.... Cheers Klas
