  • Re: Beosound 4 impressions and other options

These are very informative views and think I am now at the point when a return to the bs9000 is the way to go - one of the other reasons I got rid of it is I thought that my beo4 controlled imac with most of my music on it would be what I would use most - I was wrong - I still listen to cds a fair bit because it takes too long to select what I want

Hi Just a bit more background to my thinking - I had my bs9000 for 7 years and wanted something new and thought that there was no point having two cd players so got rid of it for the new toy. Also now very happy with my playstation 3 connected to beosystem 3 as a dvd player. I have made up my mind that my bs 4 does not have the necessary magic/soul

  • Beosound 4 impressions and other options

Hi I have had my beosound 4 for six months now buying it after selling my bs9000. Trouble is that after a fair trial I am not really getting on with my bs4 for the following reasons: - first off imo the bits you interact with don't feel to the same quality as my other b&o equipment including the fact you can see the wires under the wall bracket

  • Re: Beovision 4 and BeoSystem 3

Just heard from my dealer that the BV4 will be revised in Sept to be 1080p and that the IR eye will be attached to the screen in much the same way as the BV9 is - that may indicate that it is worth waiting for these to be released as it will change (albeit) only slightly the profile for building in and you will get a more future-proof screen.

  • Re: Beolab 7.1 vs Beolab 4000's as center channel

Hi - I found the 7.2 to be a significant improvement over the 4000s - well worth the upgrade

  • Re: Just saw it today

Well - have decided to put my money where my mouth is and order one - don't know about delivery times yet but when I finally get it I will provide an update on what its actually like to live with. I am a fairly unlikely customer as my first reactions of the pictures were negative, and am not usually convinced by the low end of B&O - but seeing

  • Re: BV8 - my first view and observations

There is a reasonable possibily it may upstage the BV6 - time will tell - it certainly has for me.

Not in the same league as the 7.1 but better than its size would suggest and better imo than the 6-26
