There was a time when going to a showroom was something I really looked forward to and the sense of excitement a new catalogue brought - but no longer. I realised the other day that I have spent over £100,000 on b&o over the last 15 years - this is also the case for 2 friends of mine who like me have had a life long love affair with b&o

I am just about to sell mine as well - for me this was one of the most anticipated products and imho too little too late - I now use a combination of the beo4 and ipod touch (with remote buddy) given most of my music is digital.. I'm think some may be very happy with it but if you want to control digital music it does not deliver - shame, with a

Hi My dealer told me that it will be available in both sizes for the same price and very likely in stock before Christmas. Also begs the question as to whether B&O are thinking of introducing white a little more.

Well I spent two hours in my B&O store taking Peter's advice and trying out all combinations of speakers - I was fortunate to have all available to try. I very interesting experience but raised some questions. In order of preference for least liked to most liked: - BL3 & BL2 - this combo does not work for me - BL6000 & BL2 - BL4000 &

Hi So its looking like the bv7 mk iii with a bl7.2 wall mounted beats the bv5. In terms of surround sound speakers which can be wall mounted (to prevent destruction from small child) I only have three choices - BL3, BL4000 and BL6000 with new wall mount option. Given about a 50:50 split between music and TV and given they will be paired with BL2 (the

Hi A while since I have posted. Last time I posted loosing my religion where I lost faith in B&O and sold all my kit (bv4,bs3,bl3,bs4,bs9000) and have now spent some time with a Pioneer 5000 ex and more recently with a Loewe 46 individual, B&W speakers, and LINN components. I now understand what I found special about B&O - quality, simplicity

That is very interesting to know as I went from an early BV7-40 to a BV4-65 and was not particularly impressed with either - maybe this is the answer. Do you know if the new BV7s are still in 32 or 40 inch only or are larger sizes planned? Also I have been informed by my dealer that the the BV4's will ship with 1080p from Sept - interesting to see

There are a number of excellent insights on this thread which have caused me to think more about the cause of my angst. I think the problem is around the height of the bar B&O have set and maintaining it - an example - some 11 years ago I bought the BS9000 just after its release - I remember very clearly spending the whole first night totally captivated

Peter thanks - I think you have hit the nail on the head in that I am suffering fatigue from the lack of progress within B&O - but I do have faith they will catch up in time. I hope their current mass popularity does not distract from their desire to continue to innovate and create beautiful products that are wonderful to use. I had a BV4-65 with

Hi - a problem - I sold all my B&O recently (BV4-65, BL3&8000, BS3, Beosound 9000) as I am just about to undertake a major house refurbishment - the idea being that I would buy new B&O kit once complete. As an interim solution I have purchased a pioneer 5000ex plasma with some good B&W speakers and a quality av amp. The problem is my
