Absolutely brilliant - must be a joy to use

Simon - thanks for your advice, it confirms my thoughts. Sadly this store almost put me off B&O. I have no desire to use this forum to judge dealers but the dismissive attitude and serious lack of product knowledge I have encountered in this store is something to behold. I am lucky there are a number of excellent dealers in London and will support

There seems to be more confusion than usual with dealers in terms of new products - I was told last week by my dealer (Knightsbridge main dealer) that the BC7-55 would be out by Sept of this year and the BV9 would stop being produced by Nov of this year (view is that the BV7-55 would wipe it out). Can anyone shed some real light on the next year for

Mine are: BL5 BL9 BV5 The current BV range, for me, don't even make it into the top 10

I understand the concept of 'magic' and the fact that B&O products have, for me, gone well beyond a piece of functional kit to something that gives real and sustained enjoyment - and I am willing to pay for the magic. I have two concerns - firstly the TV range's magic to price range ratio is out of step with the rest of the range, particularly

Interesting - I walk past my local B&O dealer (Brompton Rd, Knightsbridge) most days and up until Christmas there was usually one or two people browsing - for Jan and first part of Feb, I have not seen a single person in the store. I wonder, given how many stores there are in London, whether a consolidation may take place.

It is just out in the UK and it got me thinking - 65 inch version is £4000 and the B&O version £11500 - just amazing. I know that there is now more to the B&O screen but £7500 more? I don't wish to restart the price debate again because I think (if you exclude the beovisions) the rest of the range is reasonably priced.

I think it is the most beautiful TVs B&O have ever made so would go for one - when you think how long it is off, great looks are important.
-
Hi - I for many years have been a very serious B&O fan and their products have connected emotionally with me like no other - I remember the magic in July 1998 when I spent my first evening with my brand new BS9000 - and until recently have owned just about every beovision, beolab and beosound created in the last 15 years. .. and I am not some super
-
I totally agree in relation to the beo5 - having now used it for 5 months, I am back with the beo 4. I tried a harmony 1000 as well but once you have gone past the wow factor, it is nowhere need as easy or satisfying to use as the beo 4 (imho)
