Hi, I encode them myself from CD's using iTunes (I have a Mac computer if that makes a difference). I have just ordered a conventional slow speed 2GB SD card of the brand SanDisk which I understand B&O recommends so will se if it makes a difference.

Hi, yes they are fine on other units. I've simply dragged-and-dropped them from iTunes to the SD card (Mac). Have sent an email to B&O customer service - let's se if they can cast some light on this. Will post here if useful info from them. Thanks for your input.

I've tried formatting several times and added different songs and it still doesn't work. The SD card I use is from SanDisk and is 2GB a higher speed version of 15 MB/s called "Ultra II" but don't see why a faster card should cause any issues? I have also tried with a non-SanDisk SD card of conventional speed and 512MB but not of

Hello - I have just bought a new BeoSound 3. I am trying to playback MP3 songs from 2 different SD cards and I have the same problem with both of them: Between every other song I get a loud but short hiss before the song starts. Is this something you have experienced and what might be the solution? The MP3 songs are in 2 folders in the root of the card

Hi, I am considering to buy a BeoVision 10 40" and was wondering whether it would be able to control (PUC) the UK Virgin Media box from factory or would it need dealer configuration first? Reason I ask is I have to buy it outside UK to get other country tv reception tuner standard and can't expect a UK dealer would want to provide sw upgrades

Hi Keith, Sorry - I was not aware how the hard keys are to be coded. Perhaps if you could help me code the Panasonic plasma TV file (using ALL the hard keys) with the most obvious on hard keys. This will then allow me (I hope) to see what is needed to code the ir-commands and I can do it for the other xml files and maybe change a few things on the Panasonic

Hi Keith, Thanks - I already uploaded you working xml files for a Denon receiver, Panasonic plasma and Panasonic Blu Ray payer lasst week. Please let me know whether you received them via your upload tool or if I should email them to you. Thanks, BeoMedia

Understood - thanks! How do I repair the XML's so I can assign them to the hard coded keys please? Is the process to assign to the hard coded keys within the XML, and then I will be able to drag & drop them (i.e. replace the e.g. volume up with something else once the XML has been repaired?). Just trying to understand so I can start use my Beo5

Thank you very much for your help! With address 12 I managed to find the power on/off ir code. However, you write address as both a number between 0-31 AND as a code in the format of $10-16 What is the difference of these please? Which should I use in the generic RC5 xml please? And, my XML files do not allow me to assign to the hard / physical keys
