  • Re: Motorized Stand Question for Beovision MX Series

I live in Cologne, Germany - but we still got a flat in London as well ... but if it's not an easy plug-n-play I probably would not go through the trouble of "upgrading" from the 7000 to the 8000

  • Re: Motorized Stand Question for Beovision MX Series

Thanks for your quick reply Graham. Is there any adapter or would the motorized stand simply be useless for the 8000?

  • Motorized Stand Question for Beovision MX Series

Hello Everyone, I have a motorized stand under my MX7000. Does anyone know whether it would fit under the last from the series, the MX8000 as well? Thanks for any reply!

  • BeoCenter 2 Problem

Hello Everyone, after power went out in our house the other week due to the builders, my Masterlink system doesnt operate as before anymore: The BeoCenter2 (option Audio 0) that's connected to my BeoVision5 (option Video 2) does not send any audiomaster functions into the system anymore: when I press DVD it works just fine (BeoCenter2 starts and

  • Re: Beosound 5 specs

Actually both HDMI and DisplayPort support sound (DVI does not) HDMI already appears as a technology that'll be phased out mid-term.

  • Re: Missing basic elements that narrow the window of BS5's appeal

sorenfelden: I agree a two-way remote is absolute needed for those of us who are too lazy to get out of the couch to control the BS5. However, there may be some consolation in the fact that, presumably, the BM5 can be controlled via an on-screen menu on your TV screen (like Beomedia 1) with a Beo5 remote control? Has anybody seen the user interface

  • Re: 400 Preorders in DK

Unless that's an official press statement, noone should trust the number. Historically though B&O sales have always been enormous is Denmark compared to other contries. Does anyone on the forum have official numbers on other products that we could compare the alleged 400 to?

  • Re: Beosound 5 Hands On Experience?

RussR: OK...not to be an anorak, nor to imply that B&O have suddenly become 'purists' as such...but isn't the point of serious music listening to just sit and, without reasonable distraction, listen? Is it possible that B&O are purposely eschewing a 'Las Vegas/Tokyo by Night' interface so as not to diminish the auditory experience

  • Re: BeoMaster 5 & BeoSound 5 Poll

I could have voted 2 or 5. Eventually decided on 2 as I know myself: Even if it would only have "only" matched the functionality that my combination of AppleTV/Beoport/iPhone currently provide - I would have considered buying one (I just love B&O too much for design) ... But this product sadly gives less functionality at greater price
