So what would this mean regarding future developments?

  • Re: Beosystem1 and rs232

Since you do not have a subwoofer, the lack of bass from the subwoofer in "speaker 2" mode when watching a video source is a moot point. However, I would recommend that you get a DTS box if you want to be able to control the level of the LFE (the .1 channel of a 5.1 signal) channel. With a Beosystem 1, when no subwoofer is present, the LFE

I hope you're kidding...........if that's true we will never see any updates for it....do you have a link or a source for this "news"

  • Re: Beomedia 1, Beoport and Beoplayer features I would love to have!

SWISS 2, Thank you for your comments. However, regarding your first comment, like you I am able to select the n. music, cd, dvd, tv, n.radio or radio in each linked room using Beo4. It is the use of "my memory of where certain artists or tracks are" that I have a problem with. Sometimes I'm OK with just using the Beo4, but more often than

  • Beomedia 1, Beoport and Beoplayer features I would love to have!

The features I would love to see in a future Beomedia/Beoplayer/Beoport release include: 1) A mode in Beoplayer in which it can control a Beomedia on the same network. I have several link rooms in which I “use” BeoMedia. By “use” I mean I listen to music in my link room but run to my main system to select the music I want to

  • Re: Beosystem 1 and Zektor

The IR control comes from the V.Aux IR output. If you are going to use an device for V.Aux then you will need to split the IR signal to go to both the Zecktor and the other device. The Beosystem 1 has the codes for the HDS4 device as long as you have at least AP software version 4.9 and ccdb 4.7a . Also make use you indicate that you aqre using the

Hi there....I'm still here and I'm still having a problem......this Beo S ystem 1 issue is getting out of hand.....there are now at least 4 of us that have the same problem...I wonder how many people are having this problem that we don't know about. I think I'll call B&O this week and let them know what is going on. Maybe there is

Beoperson, I hope it works......the only thing is that our BS1s are not producing a pinkish picture and our issue is not a switching problem.... we are having with problem with displaying 1080i. I would still do the HD mod however. Also, I do recommend Atlantic Systems. I've used them several times before and have always been happy with the amount

Beoperson, The only HD mod that I know of is a resistor (i think) to correct for a pinkish picture (not sure if its for 480p or 1080i) with a certain device. However, it may do something else or there may be another HD upgrade that I do not know of......I sure do hope this is it. Are you going to try to get yours fixed?

  • Re: New addition to B&O product line. BeoSystem 1 - questions and concerns

Beoperson, You have AP software v 5.0 which is the same version I have in my working BS1. The version Beotex and I would have in our non-working BS1s is v5.1. Maybe it is not the software....or maybe its the software with certain internal hardware. Still...its very odd that we all have the same problem. Also, I very much doubt that that the 3-chip/software
