  • Re: BEOCOM 6000 intermittent caller display problem

I have the same problem. I sent my BeoCom 6000 off to an authorized service center, and worked with B&O North America for a solution. (I purchased the phone new in February 2000. It worked fine until last year.) B&O upgraded the software on the base station and handset, along with a fresh battery and new circuit board. About 75% of the time

I am. :o) I think you are the first person to correctly detect it. I enjoy my 2001 TT Roadster Quattro. The weather here is perfect for top-down driving, and I rarely get an opportunity to use the heated seats.

A BeoVision 7 with BeoLab 7-2 was seen in the apartment of Michael Knight in NBC's Knight Rider.

  • Re: Airport Express and Avant

I got it to work today, but this time I did something different. I did not have the Aux output selected on the stereo. Aimed at the TV, I pressed AV, A.AUX and the stereo snapped on and music came from both BeoSound 4000 and Avant. (They aren't in the same room, but I live in a warehouse and the remote is powerful enough to operate both.) Thanks

  • Re: Airport Express and Avant

Yes, I have the US version, BeoSound 4000 with the tape deck and sliding doors that also houses the CD clamper. I do not know the correct function/buttons to press on the Beo4 to pull up the Aux selection from the BeoSound 4000 through my Avant. (I know there must be a method, as I can on all my other linked products in the home.)

  • Re: Airport Express and Avant

I should add that I can listen to Radio and CD through the Avant, which I do during lengthy commercial breaks. I do not how to select Aux from the BeoSound 4000 on the Avant. Is there a way to select the current source, as I would from linked speakers? Thanks.

  • Airport Express and Avant

Hello, I can push music from iTunes to my Airport Express and listen through my BS4000 using Aux input. How do I then listen through my Avant? I can listen through any linked speakers in the house, but not the Avant. I have the BS4000 and Avant in close proximity. Thanks for any assistance.

  • Re: CableCARD and QAM tuner

Ignace, Thanks so much for the side-by-side comparison. Perhaps, there is a licensing issue that prevents the addition of these components in the US at this time. I see so many new TVs at the store that feature CableCARD. (I only look, as I would not consider the idea of any products that lack Masterlink.) There is also a new format for CableCARD that

  • CableCARD and QAM tuner

Hello, Does anyone know if Bang & Olufsen will offer a CableCARD or QAM tuner in their video products, which could include the BS3? I happily own an Avant, but am hoping both of these components will be added. Thanks for your time.

  • Re: High Definition on an Avant 32 RF/DVD

You asked if it is possible to view HD channels on the Avant. Although I use a different model, Avant US, I am able to view HD content by selecting the output at 480p from my STB, set top box. Working for a major MSO (multiple service operator), I do notice a significant difference between digital and HD channels on my Avant. I'm not a resolution
