  • Re: Red BeoLab 8000

Tom: beologisch: they look really awfull in red [or any other color than alu for that matter] I don't agree. It depends on the interior. I have seen some red BL8000 and BL6000 that really look very good. I agree that alu suits most interiors, but other colors look good too. I have all black BL8000 and I am very happy not to have chosen the silver

  • Re: BeoSound 3200 vs BeoSound 4

I own a BS4 and a BS Ouverture (same design as BS 3200). In terms of design I think the both are very unique and can't really say which one I like more (that's why I own both ). With respect to the functionality, I would mention the following: - No significant difference in terms of sound when playing CDs or FM radio between BS4 and Ouverture

  • Re: Beolab2

What in your opinion is the optimal level for the bass and subwoofer positions in the sound adjustment menu (for music I use BL 8000 and BL2 connected to a BV7)? Do I need to increase the bass level for BL8000 at all if I have a BL2?

  • Re: B&O and 'bling'

I don't think B&O is at big risk in this case because the mentioned community likes displaying things in public, and one can't drive a Beolab 5 like a Cadillac, nor wear a Beovision around the neck like a Burberry scarf.

  • Re: BeoWorld and Bang & Olufsen!

I am sorry for this piece of criticism, guys, but I think you are inverting the customer relationship principles with such statements. We are not on the B&O payroll and not the B&O suppliers - we are the clients of this company. It is certainly not us who should "feel proud" of the B&O's recognition of our existence but it

  • Re: Register your Warranty

Daniel Seiler: But i never got anything from B&O after this, no certificate or confirmation or whatever. Perhaps this is different in Switzerland? This is not different in Switzerland. You are supposed to get a warranty confirmation letter directly from B&O Switzerland for every purchased product. If you have not received this, call B&O

  • Re: Official DVD2 pictures on Mediacenter

I am not saying that it is a good price. I just don't think it is appropriate to make unsubstantiated allegations in public about the price being 5, 8 or 10 times higher than the "original" Philips, like some people have done it in this thread. Even the cheapest Philips DVD recorder with a hard disk would cost you around CHF 500 here,

  • Re: Official DVD2 pictures on Mediacenter

Bingo: Ofcourse they did, their first V2000 VCR was a rebadged Philips, but then they did not ask 5 or ten times the price. Now they do, and that is the most respectless thing you can do to a customer. The price of DVD2 in Switzerland: CHF 1865.- The current price of Philips 7310 (which I believe was used as the basis for DVD2) in Switzerland: CHF 830
