I just converted the following products beolab 1, beolab 4000, beolab 4000, beolab 3500, beolab 2, beosound 9000, beosystem 3 from 120v to 220v for a client that moved to Thailand from the US. US cordless phones except Beocom 5 operate on 2.4 gighz. Austrailian and UK phones operate on 1.9 gighz. You have made an expensive mistake I'm afraid.

They are the same internally. The price difference is only for the link eye and cable.

It was a software update to allow non B&O TV's to be used with the AV7000. Software 1.2 only works with the Beovision MX US version. Updates are likely no longer available. It involved changing the AMX designed source module and the main eprom. You can pick up a used AV7000 on ebay for $500. or less. It is only a composite video switcher so
