There have been many threads posted here regarding many of the existing product's lack of this or that. All have offered suggestions on what needs to be done to fix things in their opinion. Alex is correct this box was created to allow the .1 bass signal to be directed to the Beolab 5's. The bass you tap off the front speakers is not all the information put into movies by the dolby or DTS track.

This unit is used with the US Beosystem 1 and Beolab 5 speakers. It combines the subwoofer channel with the front to allow the Beolab 5's to do the work of a sub like the Beolab 2. Will not work with other speakers and only works with Beosystem 1.

We should remember that B&O product development time has never been less than two years from concept to production. So we will continue to see TBS's mark for the next two years. In the interim the only thing KHM may be able to do is stop products already started. Any of his ideas would take at least until 2011 to get to market.
