  • Re: beolink problem

Keith I have found the problem, thanks for your help. I thought I should post this incase other early adopters of the new beonet system see similar problems. I have found that out of 7 b&o product cables ml-rj45 supplied I have 2 faulty cables. The cable causing the problem described in this thread, once I checked it with a continuity tester i found

Keith Thank you for your answer but this has not resolved the problem, but it has shed some more light on it. I powered everything off at the mains waited about 10min then started everything up with all devices patched in. The cd will play in the main room via the bs3 and in the bedroom via the bv10, but neither of the beolink kits will switch on, the

I have a problem with my beolink system, my house has been cabled with cat7 and I am using the new masterlink distribution panel and at the source end b&o rj45 to masterlink cables. Vienna I dont think that is the problem, all the cabling is 586b. There is something wrong when the ml to cat7 is plugged directly into the masterlink distribution panel rather than via the patch cables. Peter

  • Beolink distribution problem

I have had my house cabled in cat7, in my patch cabinet I have a masterlink distribution panel, b&o products connected to the cat7 by the b&o masterlink to cat7 cables and then patched with b&o patch cables in the cabinet to the masterlink distribution panel all work perfectly. I also have a boelink passive and a beolink active, these are

  • Re: now hd dvd is dead

I suggest the price of blu-ray disc's will drop quite quickly, for 2 main reasons; 1) sales volumes will increase faster with no alternative format and price will fall as a result. 2) The price will fall becasue the current disc price is comparible to an HD DVD price, the market will now compare blu-ray disc price to dvd price, this can only drive

  • Re: Beomedia 1, Beoport and Beoplayer features I would love to have!

I would like to see 2 way communication of tracks, albums and playlist data from beomedia to a handheld device ideally a revised beo5 which supported 2 way comms. So that Music could be selected without use of the tv screen or amazing feats of memory. Cheers Peter

The sound quality is much better than my DVD1 produces in dd5.1. I have the 60gb version. I havnt compared a ps3 to a standalone player, i would be surprised however if there is much difference. Cheers Peter

  • Re: BLUE RAY

The BS3 does support LPCM 5.1 & 7.1 over hdmi, and does go well beyond DD5.1. Most bluray discs have an uncompressed LPCM 5.1 track, I have played many bluray discs on my playstation 3 which is connected to my BS3 with hdmi. When I use the uncompressed lpcm 5.1 track I get way better sound. In terms of sound data I can see from the playstation that
