I have a similar problem. Mostly visible on a black screen. I guess it is some sort of backlight bleeding problem. Keep us informed about what your dealer says. I don't know what to do right now.

Nice that they reccomend OPPO, but up till now the OPPO is not in the PUC list (or has that changed recently)?

Heribert, The Apple TV can easily output 720p to the BV6. No problem there. The BV6 is HD-ready (=720p). I think the BV6 looks better on a wall bracket than the BV8. BV6 has a glass contrast screen as well, easier to clean in a 'saunarium'. Muntbeoman

I have to cut down on may collection of Bang & Olufsen gear. So I decided to part with my beloved BeoGram 7000 in exclusive white with a MMC4 in very good condition. The deck itself is near mint (just a few very very light scratches from dusting). I live in The Netherlands near Rotterdam. Asking price is 400 euro.

Nope, just use a standard powerlink cable. (it's line level, so no high power goes through it).

Yes, I was the lucky one to win the brand new Beotime (not even in all shops here in The Netherlands). It arrived in an elongated package. to my surprise when I opened it the Beotime was wrapped in a black velvet bag (like a flute). I played with it before reading the instructions and as with most Bang and Olufsen stuff operation was easy. I could not

It is a Beogram 1600, but the picture is mirrored (flipped from left to right). At least I do not suppose they have left arms in the UK
