AM does not work either using the AM Aerial from the BS 2500.
-
I have one connected, but it it not the B&O, just a single wire type that slips onto the center pin. Works on My BS 2500. No luck.

Hi All, I just received my BC 9500, and everything works except for the radio. No sound at all, no hiss. When I key in a frequency manually, it just reverts back to some other freq seemingly randomly. What the heck am I missing? Hitting any of the presets does the same thing, and having it search makes it go to 87.4 and it will move to another freq

Hey all, Could not find this info quickly enough, so I'm posting it here. Is the Beo 4 a two-way remote (like the BL 5000)? I did not think it was, but wanted to double check.
-
Yeah, I mean second hand. Keep in mind the US $ is worth little - about $2/Pound Sterling.

The BeoGram 9500 does not have RIAA, it used the RIAA amp in the BeoCenter 9500. If you want to attach a record deck to an AUX port, it will need the RIAA amp built into it (the Beogram 4500 does, and looks like the BG 9500). Circuit diagram: all you want to know is here: http://www.beotech.co.uk/ Hope that helps!

I did get the BC 9500 from eBay, but won it on Sunday. I use the same user name on eBay as here.
-
I was wondering if all of the B&O two-way remotes were all using the same protocol - for example, would a MCP 5000 (etc.) work with a BC 9500 or is the BL 5000 the only one?
-
Great info - thanks! I had forgotten about the RIAA circuit.
