• Re: B & O Highs and Lows

I hadn't clipped it on properly and turned the radio on via the BS9000 as I couldn't find the remote, it must have been enough to dislodge it. It feel straight down, smashed the top off a coffee table and then fell forward on to a cushion - very fortunate! The front was undamaged and the edge that hit the floor left a long thin impression about

B&O high: mounting my brand new BS9000 and hearng it through the Penta's - sheer joy, what a beautiful stereo B&O low: the very same BS9000 falling off the wall 2 weeks later, detroying a small table on the way down, a distance of 1.3m - oh no! B&O high: finding out the BS9000 was undamaged - phew!

  • Re: New BV8 40 - first impressions at home
Since the 10% price increase, I think it's £4000? I might be wrong, but I'm sure it's there or thereabouts. I guess that excludes the cost of the stand. The BV7-40, with stand and speaker, is just under £10K.
Mine cost £3700.00 with a beo5 remote, and £150.00 for the wall bracket

I have just had my BV8-40 installed and...WOW! I will admit to being a bit nervous as the picture on my BV3-32 is excellent and I saw the BV8 at the dealer running HD and blu-ray so I wondered how it would compare running through and ordinary aerial. No need to worry as the picture is superb - really clear and crisp with no problems watching Wimbledon

  • Re: Beovision 8-40

I've veiwed (and ordered) one today. I was very impressed with the picture and sound quality - far far superior to the BV8-32. I was offered the white cabinet as an option so it should be available. It comes with beo5 (UK) so it's very good value - for B&O! Mark

  • Re: Beosound 5 Hands On Experience?

Had a play last night at the Maidstone dealer and I really liked it. Most of the technical jargon was beyond me, but it looked good, sounded superb (lab9 speakers) and a good deal was offered - 5 year warranty, free Serenata and they will load your CD collection on it before delivery if you order before 31st December - tempting, but I'm sticking

  • Beovision 4

Hi all, I've been offered a second hand Beovision 4 42" non HD and Beosystem 2 for not a lot of money. I've not seen it as yet, but believe it's in very good condition and lightly used. Whats people's opinions on this TV? - picture quality, reliability etc. Any known problems? Many thanks Mark
