  • BV8-40

    Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems as me with my BV8-40. Firstly there is a chirping sound coming from the TV, like a cricket is trapped inside (I have been told that this is a signal problem, not a fault with the TV) The EPG is often blank and freezes when scrolling through, and the panel now needs replacing as it has 2 dead

    The BS9000 always gets a good response - children are always hugely impressed and when we were chatting with friends with some random background music there was always a pause in the coversation when the changer did its thing. Great!

    The BV8-40 is a great TV, well worth the money. Although it's 'entry level' (like my BV3-32 it replaced) it's way in front of the mainstream competition in picture and sound quality. I have lab 8000's as front speakers - great sound, beautiful design and not hugely expensive if you buy second hand. I added lab 6000's as rear
