I personally think that I can live with the software without official support. But it will be more comfortable to just play by myself and explore the possibilities of the remote. Yesterday I hold one in my hand at a local dealer. It was just arrived and not charged (so nothing to say about the display) but it felt good in my hand. The navigations-Control

What I would like to know: - Are the hardwarekeys backlit? - does it support 3rd party devices (for example Apple remote for controlling front row or Apple TV with the Beo 5?) - does the database/software include general symbols (e.g. for "play", "pause" etc.) for 3rd party equipment? - can I import my own custom graphics/symbols

I'm not gonna tell my girlfriend the real price ;-) What a shame that the physical keys on the beo 5 are not backlit. Hopefully it will be possible to control Frontrow on the Macs with it. So we have a highend remote for such things :)

I think the beosound 6 is just a shame for B & O. Beosound 2 was unique and well made but this samsung with a B & O print on it ... oh no, we want REAL Bang & Olufsen products made in Denmark from that lovely company in Denmark :-)

Moin, ich weiß nicht ob B & O bzw. Samsung die Bluetoothprofile des Gerätes tatsächlich beschnitten hat. Da hilft nur testen! Am besten suchst du dir jemanden mit einem mit Bluetooth ausgestatteten Mac (haben quasi alle aktuellen Geräte ausser Mac PRO) oder einem PC. Am Mac ist es simpler da er auch sofort abfragt welche Profile
